VIO-LENCE Reunite With MACHINE HEAD's ROBERT FLYNN At Impromptu Wedding Jam

July 23, 2002

The most celebrated line-up of the San Francisco Bay Area thrash act VIO-LENCE, including current MACHINE HEAD frontman Robert Flynn, performed an impromptu two-song set at the wedding reception of bassist Deen Dell, who tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Nikki this past Saturday in Sonoma, California.

According to an eyewitness, Flynn, Dell, guitarist Phil Demmel, vocalist Sean Killian and drummer Perry Strickland "deafened a group of close friends and family members as they took to the stage with drinks in hand, and smiles on their faces, and blistered through two tracks off [the band's classic debut] Eternal Nightmare."

The quintet reportedly utilized the hired band's backline for the performance, which included renditions of the tracks "Serial Killer" and "Eternal Nightmare", both featuring Flynn behind the keyboards rather than on his customary axe.
